A summary report of the Business Expectations Survey (BES) conducted by the Bank of Botswana between September and November 2009 has been posted on the Bank’s website. This covers expectations in the business community for the period up to the end of 2010. The next round of the survey is scheduled for March 2010. While the survey provides useful information concerning current perceptions of the economic climate among the local business community, users are advised that the BES remains under development is subject to the inevitable errors associated with small samples. As such, the results should be interpreted with due caution.
