During May, the Pula appreciated against US dollar (4.6 percent) and the yen (3.9 percent) while it depreciated against the rand (1.6 percent), euro (0.4 percent) and the pound (3.2 percent). On an annual basis the Pula depreciated against the yen (15.1 percent), US dollar (7.5 percent) and the rand (2.1 percent) while appreciating against the euro (2.3 percent) and the pound (14.0 percent).
