8th February: A good run for DCI continues.

The Domestic Company Index (DCI) was at 7 429.58 points on 5th February, up by 97.86 points (1.33 percent) from 7 331.72 points the previous week. A total of 4.3 million shares worth P39.1million were traded. For the year to date, the index has risen by 2.59 percent.

1st February: The movement of the Pula against major trading currencies was mixed.

During January, the Pula depreciated against the US dollar (2.4 percent), the pound (2.7 percent) and the yen (5.1 percent) while it appreciated by 0.7 percent against the rand and the euro, respectively. On an annual basis the Pula appreciated against the pound (3.1percent), the euro (8.0 percent), US dollar (16.6 percent) and the yen (17.2 percent), while it depreciated against the rand (11.7 percent).

1st February: Another increase for DCI.

The Domestic Company Index (DCI) was at 7 331.72 points on 22nd January, up by 33.27 points (0.46 percent) from 7 298.45 points the previous week. A total of 5 049 163 shares worth P26 978 201 were traded. For the year to date, the index has risen by 1.24 percent.
