'To be a cost-effective and efficient support services provider to the Bank in the areas of property management and development, procurement, project management, and management of Bank wide Asset Register, moveable assets and consumables’
Previously the Property Management Unit, this function was upgraded to Division level from July 1, 2010, in recognition of the increased workload required to cope with major capital projects, increased maintenance at the Bank’s properties in Gaborone and Francistown and management of Bank assets, consumables and procurement. The Property Management, Procurement and Projects Division is responsible for providing modern, cost-effective development, maintenance, and management of the Bank’s physical properties, including offices, staff residences and furniture. In addition, the Division is charged with all procurement of goods, services, and works, including the provision of consumables in support of the Bank’s operations in accordance with the Public Procurement Act, 2021 and all relevant laws, policies, and procedures. The Division is also responsible for the development and implementation of major capital projects as well as coordination and support of all projects within the Bank.
All the suppliers and service providers who want to register their companies with the Bank should submit their company profiles to the Head of Property Management, Procurement and Projects Division through the Secretary.
