As required by the Bank of Botswana Act, 1996, a statement of assets and liabilities is prepared as soon as possible after the end of each month and published in the Government Gazette. The monthly statement since 2007 can be accessed through this website.

As further required by the Act, within three months after the end of the financial year in December, a copy of the annual financial statements is certified by the external auditors and sent to the Minister of Finance and Development Planning. This is together with the report on the operations of the Bank during the year, and these are published in May each year as part of the Bank's Annual Report.
