The Financial Stability Report (FSR) is a product of the Financial Stability Council (FSC) and contains analyses and evaluations of the stability of Botswana’s financial system. The report provides in-depth analysis on the performance of Botswana’s financial sector and related impact on economic activity and welfare in general, as well as give an account of the principal risks arising from both the international environment and the domestic risk situation of the Botswana financial system, i.e., both the Botswana banking sector and elsewhere in the financial system, such as in the insurance, pensions, and investment fund sectors (Non-Bank Financial Sector).
The Report is published twice a year, in May and October, following approval by the FSC.
