A summary of the Business Expectations Survey (BES) conducted by the Bank of Botswana in September and November 2011, is now available on the Bank’s website. This covers expectations in the business community of prevailing economic conditions up to December 2012. While the survey provides useful information concerning current perceptions of the economic climate among the local business community, users are advised that the BES is subject to the inevitable errors associated with small samples. As such, the results should be interpreted with due caution.
